📖 FIDELITY BANK PLC STRENGTHENS EDUCATION SUPPORT WITH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and youth empowerment drive, Fidelity Bank Plc continues to invest in the academic future of Nigerian students through scholarship awards and literacy initiatives.

📚 Read2Lead Scholarship Initiative
One of the bank’s flagship education programmes is the Read2Lead literacy and creative writing competition. The initiative encourages reading culture, essay writing, and intellectual development among primary and secondary school students across Nigeria.

During the 2025 Children’s Day celebration, themed “The Fidelity Fantasyland 3.0,” the bank launched the Read2Lead Anthology — a published collection of essays written by talented young Nigerians who participated in the programme.

As part of the event, four outstanding pupils received scholarships worth ₦150,000 each, recognising their academic excellence and creative writing skills.

These scholarship awards are often connected to the bank’s Fidelity Savings Loyalty Scheme (FSLS), which rewards students who demonstrate strong academic performance alongside responsible savings habits.

🏆 Nationwide Writing Competition (Previous Editions)
In earlier editions of the Read2Lead competition, secondary school students nationwide competed in structured writing challenges with significant rewards.
