The Man Boki Nation Denied the Opportunity to Showcase His Leadership Skills.

In the political history of Boki Nation, few names resonate with consistency, loyalty, and selfless service like Chief Mike A.T. Obi (Tarvan), Otu Aninor I of Orimekpang Community. Though he was denied the opportunity to formally showcase his leadership capacity through elective office, his impact on the lives of the people has remained visible, measurable, and enduring.

Chief Mike A.T. Obi’s political journey reflects uncommon maturity and commitment. Despite being denied the APC ticket during the last Local Government elections, he chose party unity over personal ambition. In a rare demonstration of loyalty, Chief Mike personally printed campaign posters and mounted billboards in support of the APC candidate, Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam, reinforcing his belief in the party’s vision and collective progress. Since then, his relationship with the APC, the current administration, and party stakeholders has remained cordial and unwavering.

Beyond politics, Chief Mike’s philanthropic gestures continue to touch lives across Boki Nation and among Boki sons and daughters resident in Port Harcourt. From financial support to moral encouragement, his generosity has never failed those who have come in contact with him. Even without holding public office, he has consistently participated in party activities and community initiatives, proving that leadership is defined by service, not position.

Chief Mike A.T. Obi (Tarvan) is also a strong supporter of the second-term agenda of His Excellency, Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, fully aligning with the Governor’s Renewed Hope mantra. He believes in the administration’s development blueprint for Cross River State and remains committed to mobilizing grassroots support to ensure continuity, stability, and inclusive growth, especially within Boki Nation.

Durung a live interview broadcast, AESNATIONTV Calabar Reporter: Martin Edor AKA Zino Martino interviewed his Media Team, led by Mr. Ncha Rudolf Bessong, Chief Mike reiterates his dedication to peace, unity, and progressive governance. His leadership philosophy is anchored on loyalty, compassion, and grassroots engagement—qualities that continue to draw the attention of political leaders and government stakeholders across the state.

As the year draws to a close, the Media Team of Chief Mike A.T. Obi (Tarvan) extends warm wishes to the people of Boki Nation, Cross River State, and Nigeria at large, praying for a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year filled with renewed hope, development, and inclusive leadership.
